Set Creation

I wanted to create a cozy, bright clock shop for the character Steve to work in, so I worked with warm tones, and bright lighting while designing the space.

The main props and set dressing for the space was clocks, so I modeled 13 unique clocks to populate throughout the space.

A handful of the clocks required interior modeling as they were rigged and animated.

I wanted to create a stylized feel to the world, while still remaining grounded in reality, I had a lot of fun water coloring the bricks.

Character Creation

I rigged Steves body using Advanced Skeleton. One thing that was very important to me (purely for my own enjoyment) was to get his ears to flop down, which I achieved with a driving system.

His face however was set up using a blend shape system then wrapped to the body. Here you can see some expressions as I tested the combination of many blend shapes.
